My Story

My first encounter with egg art was 25 years ago

at my friend's house in Chicago,

where I moved due to my

husband's business. The first egg

art I saw in my life made a great

impression on me.

Having parents who often

enjoyed painting, I had a lot of

opportunities to learn about artwork

since childhood, including painting.

However, the delicate work made

outof egg gave me a great surprise,

which stirred up my curiosity to

create such a work by myself.

I started to study egg art at

Egg Legend International and

devoted effort to create pieces of

work even after I came back to

Japan while raising children.

Since the production process of

egg art from designing, drafting and

cutting to decorating requires

delicate and accurate work,

 I leverage my experience

in architecture major at university.

Putting importance on the basics

I learned in the US, I also pursue

design full of originality and

delicate cutting to create new

works.

I hope that you can find how beautiful and amazing the sceneries of each season and the traditional events in Japan are through my works and also can feel joy and happiness as an art you can enjoy as a part of your daily life. I will continue to improve my skills so that I can create more works which will inspire and surprise many people.
